Bokashi is a technique of creating gradated color.

Note: the gold reflection in the photograph makes the coloration look green-ish which it is not.

These wonderful vintage sheets of washi are not longer made like this. 100% Japanese kozo withe creped texture and flecks of gold and silver leaf.

Chirimen papers were modelled after silk crepe fabrics, and were devleoped for doll making.
