This strong, highly absorbent paper has been UNESCO-designated as an “Intangible Cultural Traditional Property”.

The kozo fibre is unbleached and cooked in soda ash; sheets are dried on stainless steel. Its strength makes it excellent for use in conservation. Its absorbency makes it very good for use with wet media.
