• produced as a double wide sheet and then cut in half so has one cut edge
• appropriate for chine-colle, drawing, layering
• mitsumsata is considered to be the "feminine fibre", as it is softer and more pliable than kozo. It takes twice as long as kozo to grow so is usually more expensive.
