A burin is steel tool used for engraving in copper or wood. It has a special blade for engraving the plate surface.

This is the first burin engraving tool made in Japan.
It is possible to carve lines unique to Burin that are thinner and sharper than a “V” shaped gouge. It is attracting attention in the eraser stamp industry.

The sharpening angle is about 40 degrees.
The handle is a simple shape that anyone can easily hold.
