Kozuke is a family of good quality, versatile and economical Japanese papers available in three weights and two tones. Scroll down to see the range of papers available and click on each product image for details on each paper and sizes.

This range of machine-made Japanese papers is made from a mix of kozo fiber (for strength and flexibility) and wood sulphite (for affordability) with light sizing. Available in white and ivory, in a regular weight (44g) and heavy weight (65g) and the white comes in a light weight (21g). Kozuke papers are so versatile — they can be used for calligraphy, watercolor, inkjet and laser printing, letterpress, lino printing, mokuhanga / Japanese woodblock printing, drawing, pastel and more. They have been used for large scale steamroller printing as well as limited edition fine press books. You can order these papers in 8.5" x 11" size, full sheets of 25" x 37", half sheets as well as 10 yard rolls and 65 yard rolls. You'll fall in love with the feel of these sheets and all you can do with them. Dai Chiri and Tatami papers are a similar fiber and weight but are dyed rather than natural tone.
