As a slightly heavier tissue, these sheets are formed with a thin layer of wood pulp covered with finely prepared kozo fibers. As a result, they absorb dye readily and come in a range of rich colors. Because of their weight, Obonai Feather Tissues are a favorite among card-makers and craftspeople.
